Stephen Mitchell is a history teacher by trade. Passionately committed to classical education and ancient wisdom, Stephen has taught students in multiple countries including Canada, Poland, Qatar, Mexico and Morocco. A deeply curious and inquisitive person, Stephen is a fluent speaker of multiple languages including French, Polish, Spanish, and German, and able to communicate in Farsi, Arabic, Hungarian and Russian.

Stephen is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and is of Polish and Ukrainian descent, his grandparents having come to Canada following the Stalinist deportations of the 1940s.
